Although Osprey Clarke was established and has enjoyed sustained success as a generalist search firm, in 2005 we launched our first ever specialist practice - "Osprey Clarke General Counsel Executive Search”

This practice allows us to focus on recruiting senior legal professionals for in-house legal teams of FTSE 100 and other global organizations. It leverages our specialist knowledge and capability in the dynamic in-house legal arena and complements the strategic partnership we have formed with “The Kite Consultancy” led by Julia Chain.

The growth of credible, commercial in-house legal teams continues at a pace and at Osprey Clarke we are able to apply the skills and disciplines that have been so successful in general search at a senior level to this specialist function.

Working with our legal clients we have been able to identify the commercial drivers and critical success measures that are required in-house and as result have made a variety of successful placements that have enhanced the profile and contribution of the in-house legal team.

In some cases we have identified a career path for individuals currently in-house or alternatively we have been instrumental in helping individuals make the transition from practice to in-house.

We have built up a network of senior legal in-house practioners who help keep us right up to the minute with the key issues facing this function in areas such as corporate governance, cost management and strategic involvement.
